I also wanted to let you know that I have teamed up (once again) with 22 other recognizable names and faces for an Educents Bundle. 

 We each chose products that were bestsellers in 2013. I contributed my Story Problem Task Cards for January AND February.

I will be posting over the next couple of weeks about some of the products featured This first will be Cynthia Vautrot's Geometry in 2nd Grade for the Common Core Classroom. I had purchased this unit prior to the bundle and I can't wait to share how I'm using it in my own classroom.

Am I the only loon that finds this funny?

After typing the title of this blog post, I realized that it sounded like one of those e-mails that you don't want to open. You know the type, the e-mails from the Prince of Nigeria? Anyway, definitely not a prince, just your regular old maniac. 

Tonight I want to share something with you that has me ROLLING on.the.floor every time I see it.

I have this little gem saved on my desktop. When I am feeling down I simply pull up "Phteven" and I instantly feel better. 

I just imagine that little dog trying to say "Steven," and that is all.it.takes. 

Just now I had to insert him into this post and I am DYING laughing. My husband just said "What is it Casey?" from across the HOUSE. . all I had to say is "Phteven" and he asked no further questions . . .Am I alone in this?? 

P.S. Sorry this wasn't math or education related, just a peek into the little loony bin that is my mind.
