A Day in the Life of a Math Maniac Who Is Almost Out for The Summer: Part 1 of 1

Here are today's recaps:

 1. This is my desk.

I cleaned up for this picture . . .

2. This is the face of a teacher who is imagining that her florescent lights produce sun beams instead of talking gas and will tan her pasty cheeks.

(I was trying for a look of longing here, instead it looks like I'm trying to give you a peek up my nose.)

3. This is the cat that threw up a hair ball at the foot of my bed that I stepped in when I got home from school. . . with bare feet.
This cat is on hair ball medication AND has hair ball preventative food AND treats AND vomits every 3 days. . . usually on my bed.. . . while I am in it.

3. This is the tiny stapler that I must use to make all 48 of my goodie bags for meet the teacher tonight.

 . . . . note the stapler in picture 1. It was supposed to come home. I wonder why I didn't see it there . . . . .

4. This is the post of a teacher who just wanted to let you know that she is in the boat with you and knows how tired you all are. She feels you. (Not like your body, like your feelings, she feels your feelings).

Now she must go and staple teeny tiny staples 96 times and then she can sleep.

2 days.

If you have made it this far you probably need a pick me up. Check out this video about prancercising . ..

I might do this at recess on the track tomorrow. :)

More for Moore

One of my favorite things about being a teacher are the amazing woman I work with. No matter what they always have my back. I think that there is a bond between teachers that no one else could possibly understand. Especially with the tragedies that have happened within schools over the past year.

With that in mind a group of teachers has bonded together to donate proceeds from our stores to the people of Oklahoma who were affected by last weeks tornadoes.

In honor of this, I will be putting all items in my TPT store on sale for 10% for Sunday and Monday. The proceeds will all go to the Salvation Army Oklahoma Tornado Relief.

This would be the perfect time to clear out anything from my store on your wishlists.

Thank you to Donna from Math Coach's Corner for putting this together. If you would like to join up head on over to her blog for details.

Below is a list of seller's who are participating:

Dice are one of my FAVORITE math tools. This week I am using dice to save on copies and to review basic math concepts.

(And after all of my spending with last week's Teacher Appreciation Sale I was looking for something that wouldn't break the bank!) :)

Below are several dice related FREEBIES that I am using in my own classroom this week.

Click on the images or on the text below each image to download.

Preparing for the End . . . and the Beginning!!

If you have been following here for a while then you know that my school schedule is CRAZY. You can read more about it here

This week my kiddos will take their final standardized test of the year and then in 3 WEEKS they will meet their new teachers and see their classrooms for third grade.

The point of me telling you all of this is so that it will not seem strange that over the past two weeks I have created  Primary Calculator Practice for test practice:

AND a Meet the Teacher Chevron Style pack!

My attention has been severely divided to say the least!

Luckily the Teacher Appreciation Sale is going on at TPT AND at TN so I can grab some SUPER cute stuff to end my year and start the new one in July!

I'm participating in the sale as well so now is a good time to work on that wishlist!

(Thanks Zippy Designs for the SUPER cute graphic!)

Hope you learned more about my school schedule than you wanted to! :)

P.S. If you are not following me on Facebook, you probably should! I may be having a flash giveaway soon and the keyword is expect great things.

Currently in May . . .

Hooray!! I am linking up with Farley over at Oh Boy Fourth Grade for her monthly bunch of awesomeness

I don't think there is really anything to explain here but can I just say that I am SUPER excited about RIVER RAFTING with my bestie in June. We're both teachers and it appealed to both of us that the rafts advertise that they have CUPHOLDERS.

Happy May Y'all!
