June Currently

Hi folks! So I know that my a few of my past recent post have been, well, depressing, but I am glad to say that I am feeling SO much better, now that SCHOOL IS OVER! :)

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my job, but I HATE paperwork. :/

I have one more workday to go and then my "summer" begins!!!

You will probably be hearing a lot from me over the next few weeks though because my kiddos go back to school on July 9th!!!!!! That's right!!!! Really soon!!!

I am so excited to begin my new journey with my little cupcakes very soon. For now, (and I can't believe this is all I am actually posting!), here is my June currently! :)

Sadly, the only place I have been this year is Wrightsville Beach in March . . . and only for a day . . .  :/  I did go to Durham, but I can't count that because it is less than an hour away from home. This currently has lead me to the realization that I really DO need to get out more!

But . . . I will be going to Myrtle Beach NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Does anyone have any recommended reading??  (It looks like I'll be hitting up the used book store after I cracked the screen on my kindle last week getting out of bed . . . oh the hazards of reading in after hours!)

  1. I just finished Maine and really liked it. Of course, if you're going to the beach, you can't beat Elin Hilderbrand, especially Blue Bistro and The Island.

  3. Oh no about your kindle. I haven't broke down and bought one yet. I can't wrap my mind around not having my actually paper copies on my bookshelf. It is a never ending battle in my brain, Kindle...paper...kindle...paper. I sure hope you are able to find some good paperback reads. :)

    Enjoy your break.

  4. Ireland is A-MAZING! You would love it! I did a study abroad trip there my last semester in college! I spent 5 months over there in this quiet little town in a little country side village! It was delightful! I think of those days and want to go back so so bad!
