My Very First Giveaway!

So today was just one of those days. YOU  know the kind of day where you don't have even a second of time to think, you get observed (while sitting on the floor underneath the stairs in the stairwell doing a remediation group because its the only space available), you have two parents come in unexpectedly to volunteer, yours kids are nuts with book fair craze and track out craze, the field is too muddy to have outdoor recess for the second day in a row, you think you are done with your report cards and you read over some of them only to decide that you sound like a mad woman, one of your students tries to shove a pencil down the drain in the sink AND burps on another student's food in the lunch room, you realize that you haven't even had a chance to ask your TA how her weekend was and it is almost Wednesday, you have a parent conference and realize that you are showing the parents their student's grades from the previous quarter which make things look just fine and their not AND on top of all of this you are you are CRAZY worried about your 10 hamsters living in your bath tub. Okay, so some of you are thinking that things could be much worse. I so agree and there was a time in my teaching life where this would be a good day but all of the hamster stuff has really been eating away at me.

Then, I got home this afternoon and called a VERY nice local high school teacher who has volunteered to take ALL 10 of my hamsters! And them I am reminded that God is good and all is well again! So to pass on my recent good luck . . . .
