Take Home Math Kits . . . Part II

Today I am posting a few of my Take Home Math Kits that have materials that are easy to get a hold of. I won't claim the ideas for these games but I can't site where I found each one, just know that I am not taking credit for inventing Race to $1.00 (which has been around since the beginning of time). Anyway, I hope that you can use these ideas in some way.
Another great resource for the games that I used in my take home kits is actually my state's DPI website! Go here and look for Week by Week Essentials (Second Grade is at the bottom of this page) for each of the essentials units there is a game that reinforces the skill. Some are awesome, some are just okay but I used at least 10 of these to make my kits.

I forgot to mention in my first posting about my kits that I got the idea entirely from my buddy Jen  She actually totally hooked me up and everyone else on our grade level team. Reading is her true love but she has great ideas for math too! Thanks Jen! Check out her awesome blog Hello Mrs. Sykes.
